Information Collection and Use
Read and write access to Google Contacts
Access to write files to Google Drive
Usage of email, profile, openID: Used to create a link between the logged in user and it’s representation within the app. This data is accessed upon log in via the auth2 library. The profile data is not stored, but loaded from google upon login. We have an extra layer of inferred information stored for functional purposes (last login, workplace), that we store, this is not coming from Google sources, but submitted in-app by the user.
Usage of Google contacts: Used to enable users to import google contact data into the central database, also used to sync back data from the central database to google contacts. This data is accessed via the contacts REST API and gets stored upon import, which is done by a user selecting the contacts he wants to import into the app manually. No information on other contacts gets stored in either the database or local device storage. The data that gets stored can be adjusted by users permitted to access this contact’s data, which is only possible with consent from another owner of this contact’s data. The information gets shared in-app and can be exported into a spreadsheet format by users permitted to see this contact data, Including admins with fit permissions to see in-app contact data.
Usage of Drive: Used to enable users to export their contacts list into their personal Google Drive. The service is accessed via the drive REST API and no data gets stored, the only thing we do with this scope is enable a drive file (spreadsheet) to be created by our application and stored in the logged in user’s folder.
