- What team are you in and what does an average day look like?
I work in Air Liquide in the US (ALEUS) under the Sales and Marketing group as an Account Manager. As such, I am responsible for the US relationship with one of Electronics’ largest accounts globally. My job is to work as the main point of contact for this customer and drive to add value to both Air Liquide and this customer across multiple product lines (Advanced Materials, Speciality Materials, Carrier Gas, TGCM, and E&I). This role also entails working with the global account team to align strategies for this customer and have cohesive offerings.
- The project you are the proudest of...
I have by no means been the main person responsible for this project but I am proud of a gas plant expansion project at the customers’ Virginia site. It has been a long and strenuous journey but it has provided a lot of learning opportunities for Air Liquide. This expansion will include the largest flat bottom tank for liquid nitrogen in the US and has been the largest carrier gas project for ALEUS thus far.
- What's one thing most people don't know about you?
I am actually a very introverted person. Most people assume because I am in sales and am pretty easy going that I must be an extrovert. I have to push myself to be as interactive as I am because I know it is needed for this job. It doesn’t always come naturally to me but most people within the ALEUS organization are easy to work with and supportive, which really helps!
- Anything else you want to add that candidates interested in joining Air Liquide may want to know?
Air Liquide offers a broad range of opportunities across business lines and countries. It has been flexible to work with my situation and still keep me engaged with my work!
