In house R&D, supplying key molecules like silane and ammonia, gas and chemical distribution systems and renowned services (total gas management) makes us a partner of choice. The team based in Dubai provides a connection between the group's efforts and regional deployment. We work within the global ecosystem of researchers, industry and Air Liquide labs to develop new chemistries that improve efficiencies and performance of solar cells and modules.

In March 2014, Air Liquide signed a scientific cooperation agreement with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), one of the most prestigious and influential universities in the region. We also joined the Kaust Industry Collaboration Program (KICP), which brings together renowned scientists from across the world. This partnership in strategic research fields, notably solar technologies, enhances our leadership within world-class academic research institutions, and industry leaders in the Middle East.
